Sometimes as we are walking through this life, we can forget - even just for a nano second - to lean into one another.
We’re all on our own trajectory of to-do’s that we zip around week by week not realising how much we need a space simply to be HEARD and ACCEPTED just as we are.


And this is why we gather together to sing.


One of the greatest gifts of coming to a song circle - is a deep remembrance and visceral KNOWING from the tips of your toes to the top of your head -
That You Are Not Alone.

What is Kin Song?

Do you wonder if singing holds something integral to your healing?

Do you long to feel like your voice is finally ‘enough’ just as it is?

There’s something INCREDIBLE that happens when women gather to sing.

The mix of your voice alongside the women next to you… the spontaneous swaying of hips in rhythm… the beams of sunlight filtering in as our voices swell… the feeling of finally allowing our voice to be enough as it is...

There’s something in our body that REMEMBERS.

Singing together connects us not only to one another, but something even greater than us, that links us all together.

Kin Song is about women coming together to celebrate the threads woven from the women before us, the women around us, the women who live within us…
and the great mother that ties us all together and holds us all in the palm of her hand.

We don’t need a reason to sing.

Women have been singing as they work, as they cook, as they walk, as they sit, as they sort, as they teach, for CENTURIES.

Singing is interwoven into life and living itself.

When did we forget that singing is valuable and worthy of our time and devotion?

The essence of Kin Song

OPEN + CONNECT

This is part song circle, part women’s circle, part ceremony.

We explore the beauty of sharing song together - and you get to experience the magic of raising your voice with other women, as well as feeling held by those around you.

In our circle, we get to practice how when we witness and listen to not only the women around us, but also our inner knowing within us - our voice’s power becomes distilled and refined into pure potency.

CREATE + PLAY

During this afternoon we explore and play not only with our sound, but also with our creativity and hands!

You will create a gift for yourself to take home as well as one for another woman there on the day.

Meeting our creativity with curiosity and play is KEY to accessing and owning your free, liberated sound - we aren’t doing keyhole surgery while singing so we can afford to lighten up a little right?!?!?!

Plus, sitting around a table with women creating from our hearts, voices, and hands is medicine for almost any ail in my opinion!

ANCHOR + REMEMBER

Come spend a day REMEMBERING that singing has always been the way of life, and that it’s a whole lot more ‘simpler’ than we tend to make it.

Sing for the women who came before you, for yourself, for the women to come after you…

But also something greater that holds you. Your kinship with the earth beneath and spirit all around you.

We return to the JOY + BEAUTY that is present all around us and within us and reclaim it by singing it all the way into being.

  • Yes absolutely! Any babes in arms that are not yet crawling or walking are more than welcome to join us.

  • Welcome :) There are no singing pre-requisites for this event and no hoops for you to jump through. You are worthy of singing simply because you have a voice my love.

  • For this event, any woman aged 15 and up is welcome :)

  • A keep cup, layers to keep warm outside, a bowl and spoon for dinner, water, and your beautiful self!

  • That is completely normal my love. You'll find you won't be the only one almost pooping their pants ;)
    I promise you'll be pleasantly surprised and delighted how much FUN you'll actually have!
