“I have been part of Allyce’s song circles since their birth, and I can tell you it is the most magical,
soul lifting,
body tingling,
warmest hug
you will ever receive”
- Beth

Sometimes as we walking through this life, we can forget - even just for a nano second - to lean into one another.
We’re all on our own trajectory’s of to-do’s that we zip around week by week not realising how much we need a space simply to be HEARD and ACCEPTED just as we are.
This is why we gather together to sing.
One of the greatest gifts of coming to a song circle - is a deep remembrance and visceral KNOWING from the tips of your toes to the top of your head -
That You Are Not Alone.
*Open to women only*
This is an intimate event with a focus on connection and so to ensure there is space for everyone to be heard, numbers are limited to 16 women :)
WHY COME TO A SINGING CIRCLE?
To actually enjoy singing!
To challenge that voice in your head that tells you
your voice isn’t good enough,
that it sounds bad,
should be better,
that you’ve missed the boat,
or that singing isn’t important enough to spend your time + energy on…
News Flash - a song a day keeps the doctor away!
So our focus is on play + curiosity…
not perfect technique.
I want you to sing with your WHOLE BEING...
Not just your head.
As we use our voices in fun and different ways we laugh, we get all cosy against our comfort zones, and we allow ourselves to peel back the layers to our true, unfiltered, joyful, heart centred sound once more.
You will always be singing at the same time as others and there’s no uncomfortable forced solos on your own
(unless you’re lit up you just let one rip! Then go for it!)
“What a true joy it was to sing with everyone… the deepening of layers you took us on with your loving guidance felt so healing and powerful.
Forever grateful for you and this magical afternoon you created”
“The rare beautiful feeling of being loved and supported… I will be seeking more and more of it.
I haven’t sat in circle for years! It was challenging to articulate all the words and feelings I had swimming around in my heart and head.
But so many beautiful moments and you’re amazing and keep doing what you do beautiful lady!”
Wanna know the song we will be diving into on the day?
As you listen to the song, take note of how listening to this makes you feel?
What do you notice in your body?
Do any memories or people surface in your mind?
Do you feel drawn in or repelled? (Neither is right or wrong by the way!)
Notice if by simply listening a conversation begins within you between your inner landscape and this song…
Ok Allyce, but what do we do?
Ok Allyce, but what do we do?
We begin our afternoon with gentle sound + movement to connect in with your own centre,
invite your WHOLE self into the circle,
and establish ease + trust in your body.
We then move into some fun singing practices to open the pathway to your authentic + relaxed sound,
Learn a small song as a group and play with the innate storyteller within you,
And finish with tea + treats as we sit and share in soulful circle together.
By the time you leave you will feel Joyous, Free, Liberated,
& crooning tunes all the way home!
But what do you get from a Singing Circle?
-
LAUGHTER + PLAY.
If you've ever met me in person you'll know -
I break out into weird sounds and voices every minute,
stumble over my words and invent new words,
and somehow always end up with a mischievous sprite in our group ;) -
COMMUNITY.
You're not alone. The pressure is OFF.
You're singing in a room full of women!
RAD women :)
Women who long to once again enjoy using their voices, just like you. -
ACCEPTANCE.
There's no need to *get it right* here. We muck up. We giggle together. And we keep on singing. You get to be as loud or soft as you want. You'll learn to reconnect your voice to your OWN internal guidance system.
-
REMEMBRANCE.
You'll remember who you were BEFORE you were told to be quiet. BEFORE you were told to play the shaker instead of sing along. BEFORE you were made to stand in the back.
-
CONNECTION.
To your SELF first. And then to others. Safety in being heard and seen by others. Permission to be heard in your authenticity. In your voice exactly as it is RIGHT NOW. Because your voice is your own. And it's already ready to be heard.
This is for you if…
*You want to sing in a less structured, more free flowing environment
*You love the idea of using your voice in community with other women
*You're not so much about 'learning technique' - you just want a space to let loose baby!
*You're ready to play and explore in new ways with your voice
*You want to remember how transformational singing can be
*You want to create more pockets of JOY in your life!
Hi! I’m Allyce
My background is in Music Theatre - after completing a Bachelor of Arts in Music Theatre at WAAPA in 2009, I went on to work professionally in productions all around Australia and overseas for over 10 years.
My training is in Classical Singing, Musical Theatre and Pop Singing so all of that informs what I share with you... but interwoven through it all is my intuitive abilities to hear what your voice is asking to explore and be heard in.
My intuition is my guide above and beyond anything technical. And sometimes she asks us to try some weird things in the name of freeing your sound - so be prepared to be silly ;)
Above all, this space is about CURIOSITY and PLAY.
All I ask is for you to bring an open mind, a willingness to explore new things, and a desire to feel deeper into your fullness.
What People Are Saying
“I’m not going to lie, when we started I thought ‘Shit! What have I signed up for?’
I was nervous AF, but Allyce gently reminded us, ‘guys, we are not saving lives, we are having fun’.
And once I got over being scared of sounding shit, I really enjoyed it, so much so, I’d definitely go again!
And I taught one of the songs to my daughter, and that was pretty sweet.
Thank you Allyce!”
-Sam
“How we feel after Allyce’s singing circle -
Grounded.
Connected.
And as always, free and just a little bit crazy”
- Holly
“There are not enough words to express how special this was to me,
I’ll be honest I was so nervous about singing in a group, but you made each time such a safe and beautiful experience”
- Heidi
